About the Role

The Merchant Operations Executive at Moby is responsible for ensuring a seamless onboarding experience and smooth day-to-day operations for our merchants. You will handle payment channel setup, manage disputes, support merchants with system issues, and ensure timely delivery of marketing materials. This role is perfect for someone detail-oriented, organised, and eager to grow in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

Execute the merchant onboarding process and set up payment channels. Communicate effectively with merchants on onboarding status and respond to inquiries. Manage refund claims/disputes (e.g., stock issues, cancellations). Prepare, pack, and coordinate courier delivery of marketing materials. Perform payment and system testing on merchant accounts/websites. Collaborate with internal and external teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Support ad-hoc tasks and other assignments from management.

Qualifications

Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations, Finance, IT, or related field. 1-3 years of experience in operations, merchant services, or e-commerce (fintech experience is a plus). Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Basic knowledge of payment systems or e-commerce platforms is an advantage. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday Flexible clock-in/clock-out between

8.30am - 10.00am

and

5.30pm - 7.00pm

(8 working hours per day, excluding lunch break) Hybrid working model (with work-from-home option, subject to management decision)
