What You Will Do In Your Role

• Provide or lead efforts to resolve complex & time critical L3 support incidents within the agreed SLA\xe2\x80\x99s
• Perform or assist in root cause investigations and MES changes/updates.
• Train and assign work to other L2 and L3 Application Specialists
• Track report support status and efforts across the Asia region
• Colaborate with M&O Manager to optimize support resource usage as well as provide excellent and customer service
• Performs comprehensive functionality tests of new and updated applications to verify desired results are achieved. Evaluates results and coordinates to improve program performance, effectiveness, and maintainability.
• Provide guidance and support to users including diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving any Opcenter (MES) issues
• Make required configuration changes as requested by functional team
• Train other IT people on Opcenter MES technical support.
• Communicate configurations/ customizations to technical team
• Script/ code for customization updates
• Develop / Modify reports report design as per business needs
• Provide desktop and other application support as required by manufacturing shop floor operations. This includes installing, repairing, upgrading, replacing and maintaining hardware/software and peripheral equipment
• Provide functional, technical and data administrative services Coordinate or lead issue resolution efforts with application vendor and infrastructure teams

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, manufacturing or a related field

• 5+ years working with MES systems.
• 2+ years working Siemens Opcenter Execution Core (Camstar) performing support and enhancement efforts
• 3+ years of experience as a senior systems analyst, database administrator, or other IT management experience

• 2+ years of object-oriented Web development using Java/C#.NET 2+ years of application and desktop support

What Will Put You Ahead

• Opcenter/Camstar Application Expertise and Know-how: Modeling, Integration, analytics, scheduling and reporting

• Knowledge of relational databases (Microsoft SQL server,Oracle or others), and SQL

• Software Development background in .NET, Java or other programming languages

• Familiar with integration approaches, framework technologies, or other application integration toolsets

• Strong research, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills

• Good understanding and experience of plant manufacturing processes.

• Good understanding of MES exchanges information across other plant systems.

• Demonstrated success in working with cross-functional teams

• Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin
