About the Department
The Innovation and Decision Science (IDS) is a department within the internal audit division that provides analytical expertise to various audit functions. We deliver advanced analytics and innovative solutions that strive to enhance audit effectiveness. We support and add-value to the auditor's work through the delivery of various analytical use cases
Job Responsibilities

• Devise and utilise various analytical techniques to mine insights from multiple data sources (structured/ semi-structured/ unstructured).
• Work in developing/ improving datamarts to support various audit initiatives.
• Support advanced analytics and data science/ ML/ AI projects to enhance audit effectiveness.
• Support any new methodology/ innovation initiatives that help to strengthen analytical capabilities of audit functions.
• Build and maintain self-service dashboards to assist auditors in making data-driven decisions.
• Managing metadata for data sources, transformation processes and data definitions to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Develop and implement automation jobs that able to optimize work efficiency of the auditors.

Job Requirements

• Preferably 2 - 3 years of data analyst/ data science experience in banking industry.
• Proficiency in SAS, Python, SQL or any other tools for data manipulation/ analysis/
• modelling.
• Familiarity with data visualization techniques.
• Familiarity with core methods in statistical and machine learning, e.g. regression, time series,
• decision trees, clustering, etc.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.
• Good communication skills to present findings to diverse group of stakeholders, including non[1]technical users.
• Bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualifications in Data Science, Computer Science,
• Mathematics, Statistics or other related disciplines.
• Experience working with advanced analytical models/ tools/ applications.
• Experience with one or more BI tools (Qlik, Power BI, Tableau).
