The Role Responsibilities
We are looking for a Data Engineering Tech Lead. In this highly visible role, you will serve as the technical expert responsible for design and implementation of BI, Analytics, & Big Data solutions providing high-value, timely analytics and data solutions to Business users. You will be responsible for verifying requirements, defining architecture, providing thought leadership for all data solutions, including designing data solutions that meet and exceed Business user\xe2\x80\x99s expectations. Responsibilities

  • Providing Technical Leadership for the Adaptation, Creation and Migration of Applications to the Cloud for various data applications.
  • Converting hard and complex techniques as well as functional requirements into the detailed designs
  • Designing and development of various technical framework/libraries/utilities which can significantly reduce developer\xe2\x80\x99s workload.
  • Providing an innovative and cost-effective solutions along with a proof of concept to various business and technical problems
  • Leading and assisting with the technical design and implementation of the data platform solutions both on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Promoting the use of Data engineering best practises through engineering communities
Requirements
  • The candidate must be a self-starter, who can work under general guidelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Overall minimum of 8 to 15 years of experience either in Data Warehousing/Datalake/Datalakehouse Domain or any related domain
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Spark (Batch & Streaming), Kafka
  • Programming knowledge on Java or Python or Scala is a must.
  • Excellent knowledge in SQL & Linux Shell scripting
  • Experience in Devops based deployment and knowledge on Git, Azure Devops/Jenkins or related tools stack.
  • Min of 1-year Hands on experience on Cloud (AWS, Azure) is a must.
  • Min of 1-year Hands on experience on Airflow & Data build tool (DBT framework)
  • Knowledge on DataBricks platform is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge on Solr OR Elastic search is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge on Neo4j OR Tiger graph or any other Graph DB is an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
