:Job Summary:Reporting to the Director of Environmental, Health and Safety, this position is responsible for managing the regional EHS Program. The EHS Regional Manager is responsible for ensuring site compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations and company policies to manage risks associated with semiconductor manufacturing and for guiding site focus on environmental sustainability.Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Provide leadership to the site on matters related to EHS.\xc2\xb7 Implement health, safety, environmental and sustainability initiatives. Lead site EHS teams for continuous improvement of EHS goals. Effectively interact with all EHS managers and site leaders to drive EHS improvements and enable them to meet specific business goals.\xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and standards involving general safety, fire safety, environmental safety, and industrial hygiene.\xc2\xb7 Prepare or ensure completion of regular site EHS reports and all regulatory reports/statistics.\xc2\xb7 Maintain ISO14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.\xc2\xb7 Ensure maintenance of all required EHS related permits.\xc2\xb7 Develop effective safety programs to prevent employee injury and minimize workers compensation costs.\xc2\xb7 Track EHS metrics.\xc2\xb7 Develop and deliver training programs to meet regulatory requirements and company objectives.\xc2\xb7 Track timely closure of all EHS audit findings and corrective action items.\xc2\xb7 Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions\xc2\xb7 Maintain and continuously improve the site\'s regulatory compliance assurance process through overall direction of the EHS programs.\xc2\xb7 Direct a strong structured safety process to drive a positive safety culture, insisting on consistent implementation of and adherence to policies and procedures.\xc2\xb7 If required, interface with Local regulatory agencies relative to inspections, inquiries and associated corrective action plans.\xc2\xb7 Other duties and assignments as necessary.Qualifications:Requirements:\xc2\xb7 BS degree in chemical or environmental engineering, physical sciences, industrial hygiene, or other engineering discipline.\xc2\xb7 An advanced degree in Health, Safety and Environmental science and CIH, Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) trained is an added advantage.\xc2\xb7 12+ years\' experience as an Environmental or Safety engineer/specialist, Fab/Facilities Engineer, or Industrial Hygienist.\xc2\xb7 12+ years\' experience directly managing small to moderate size teams, including at least 5 years of regional role.\xc2\xb7 Deep knowledge and understanding of EHS regulations (OSHA, Environmental, etc.).\xc2\xb7 Strong ability to work well with all functional departments and flexibility to support the site while ensuring corporate standards are met.\xc2\xb7 Strong project development/management skills with the ability to work with minimal oversight and a strong bias for delivering on commitments to achieve desired results.\xc2\xb7 Able to organize and prioritize complex and varied tasks and projects.\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization including the hourly workforce, first line supervision, Plant Leadership Team, business level organization, as well as regulatory and external customers.\xc2\xb7 Strong written and oral communication skills\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated success in managing, motivating and mentoring EHS professionals.\xc2\xb7 Proficient with web-based and other electronic tools and systems.\xc2\xb7 Flair for conducting EHS training.\xc2\xb7 Coordinating Emergency response training, evacuation drills\xc2\xb7 Knowledge in Responsible Business Alliance audits\xc2\xb7 Knowledge in other semiconductor customers\' requirement.\xc2\xb7 Leading and carrying out effective Environmental, Health and safety auditsonsemi (Nasdaq: ON) is driving disruptive innovations to help build a better future.
