Role Responsibilities
\xc2\xb7 Minimum 12 years of experience in application Design, Architecture and development using PEGA 6.x, 7.x and 8.x versions
\xc2\xb7 Should have involved in architecture design and development of min 3 enterprise applications in PEGA platform
\xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge and experience on PRPC internals and product architecture
\xc2\xb7 PEGA System administration knowledge and strong hands-on in PEGA tools including AES, PAL, PLA
\xc2\xb7 Knowledge in JAVA, PL/SQL and Unix
\xc2\xb7 Strong debugging skills and experience in Connectors and Services (Email, REST, FILE, MQ, JMS etc)
\xc2\xb7 Strong debugging skills in PEGA and ability to play as independent contributor
\xc2\xb7 Experience in JBOSS configuration for PEGA and DevOps model

\xc2\xb7 Play as a team member in SRE team to enhance application and infrastructure resiliency of service through self-healing and automated failovers - target a 99.9% up-time to customers.
\xc2\xb7 Oversee the planned/unplanned disruption of production infrastructure to ensure accountability for building resilient, always-on systems.
\xc2\xb7 Build resilience into the application so underlying system failures are handled gracefully and do not impact end users. Influence design/development teams to always be thinking of the rainy-day scenarios.
Efficiency
\xc2\xb7 Identify opportunities to eliminate all manual and repeatable activities (toil) via tooling and automation
\xc2\xb7 Reduce the number of repeat incidents by permanently fixing the underlying root cause of issues
Capacity Planning
\xc2\xb7 Develop automated predictive analysis of future capacity needs and drive the proactive upgrade of service capacity well in advance
\xc2\xb7 Using Standard Chartered\xe2\x80\x99 s SDI (Software Defined Infrastructure) develop auto-scaling to deliver robust resilience to fluctuations in critical service demand

Latency & Performance
\xc2\xb7 Drive conversation around development velocity using SLIs/SLOs data to ensure development velocity vs. service reliability is optimized in partnership with Product Teams
\xc2\xb7 Iteratively review SLI/SLO/Error Budget policy to ensure the quantitative indicators of customer experience are accurate
