About the Department

The Compliance function is a strategic partner and a trusted business enabler to the Board and senior management. It is our responsibility to ensure that the Group continuously fulfils its regulatory obligations in today\'s tight and dynamic regulatory landscape. To do that, we work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and to assess regulatory risks. This collaboration also includes developing practical solutions that integrate regulations into operational requirements as well as actively shaping and promoting stronger compliance culture and literacy in the Bank.

Job Responsibilities

• Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
• Perform complex data analysis to identify, analyse, and predict trends or patterns associated with potential regulatory risks.
• Conduct timely ad-hoc and scheduled data preparation requests from internal stakeholders.
• Perform end to end analytic solutions: from understanding business requirements, data discovery and extraction, model development and evaluation;
• Use different statistical methods and tools (SQL, R, Python) to analyze effectiveness of AML scenarios/framework/model.
• Perform data, transactional and trend analysis from multiple sources and build visualisation dashboard/generate reports for various stakeholders
• Performs data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues.
• Working with internal stakeholders within the Compliance to establish their information needs
• Conduct training to end-users on new reports and dashboards.

Job Requirements

• An undergraduate degree, preferably in Data Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or a related field with experience in systems administration, analysis, configuration.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experiences as a data analyst or in a related field is highly desirable.
• Basic knowledge in banking operations is required.
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data blending, data preparation and data visualization
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
• Well-versed in SQL, Python and R.
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Qliksense, Tableau
• Strong

with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy * Well versed with both verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-fostered, multi-tasking environment.
