About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced

DevOps Lead

to oversee and guide a team of DevOps engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, high-performing infrastructure and automation solutions. This role involves close collaboration with development teams, operations staff, and business stakeholders to deliver efficient, reliable, and secure technical solutions, particularly within the financial trading and capital markets sector.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of

DevOps engineers

, providing guidance on infrastructure design, automation, and best practices. Collaborate with development, operations, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions. Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance to enhance

scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency

. Define and enforce

best practices

for configuration management, continuous integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD). Proactively identify infrastructure and automation risks and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure

security and regulatory compliance

across all systems and processes. Drive

process improvement initiatives

through strategic planning and optimization. Oversee

system health monitoring

, detecting and resolving issues early to minimize disruption to users.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in

Software Engineering

or a related discipline. Minimum of

5 years' experience

in operations automation, solution architecture, or related roles. Strong understanding of

financial trading systems

, especially in the

capital markets sector

. Proven experience in

leading and mentoring teams

effectively. Excellent

problem-solving and analytical skills

, with the ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Hands-on experience with

monitoring/logging tools

such as Zabbix and

configuration management tools

like Ansible. Proficiency in

CI/CD tools

, including GitHub Actions, GitLab Runners, or Bitbucket Runners.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
