Job Description

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To develop test plan, test scripts and test cases in ensuring they are in line with the business requirements; obtain user review and official sign off prior to UAT execution.
2. To participate in testing preparation i.e. system date planning, test data preparation etc.
3. To work closely with technical team to ensure proper testing environment is set up.
4. To conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Test and Operation Readiness Test.
5. Ensure defects raised properly fixed and tested for closure.
6. To document all test results for user review and obtain sign off.
7. To monitor and provide testing progress report update.
8. To develop training manual.
9. To carry out activities and to complete the required tasks within the timeline set.
10. Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
11. Responsible to escalate concerns/issues/risks to supervisor for resolution.
12. Proactively contribute idea and provide proposal for UAT process improvement which cover testing approach/strategy, test plan/test data preparation, UAT execution etc.

JOB SPECIFICATION (requirements)

a. Qualifications Degree from a recognized University preferably in Business, Insurance Studies, Information Technology, Computer Science, etc

Professional qualification in Life Insurance i.e., Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII), Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII), Life Office Management Association (LOMA), Australian Institute of Insurance (AII), International Claim Association (ICA) or other related to Life Insurance Industry would be an added advantage.

b. Experience
A minimum of 2 years testing experience.
Experience in Life Insurance Industry with basic operational knowledge in Life Administration Mobile and web application testing experience will be value added
Experience in testing automation tool

Working location is reachable by public transport.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
