Responsibilities include ongoing support and administration of web base applications, providing technical assistance and consulting to end-users and application developers, developing and maintaining tools for managing the server infrastructure and troubleshooting high-profile performance issues utilizing rootcause analysis and implement appropriate plan for problem resolution.

• Good technical knowledge in IBM WebSphere Application Server/Oracle WebLogic and WebSphereMQ
• Responsibilities include ongoing support and administration of web base applications, providing technical assistance and consulting to end-users and application developers, developing and maintaining tools for managing the server infrastructure and troubleshooting high-profile performance issues utilizing rootcause analysis and implement appropriate plan for problem resolution.
• The candidate must be able to work as a member of the support team in providing timely and efficient support to assigned operations.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations and maintenance of a critical middleware applications (MQ, IBM WAS/ Oracle WebLogic)
• Collaborate in assessing current and expected application needs, configuration, maintenance, optimization and documentation.
• Follow and apply configuration and security standards and policies within a defined Change Management process.
• Assist with implementing solutions for web base applications; Implement common preventive maintenance practices for web applications and ensure that system improvements and changes are implemented correctly and completely, and monitor all effects of the modifications.
• Administrator in Middleware software such as IBM WebSphere Application Server, Oracle WebLogic Server and IBM MQ
• Apply Middleware software patches and maintain at least N-2 patch version
• Manage and renew SSL certificates

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server (IBM WAS) or Oracle WebLogic and related technology such as Apache. \xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge of, and/or hands-on experience with IBM MQ
• Knowledge in SSL cert generation and installation
• Good knowledge in Unix command
• Knowledge in Java programming would be added advantage.
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills and problem identification.
• Able to work extended hours
