About our group:
We operate and handle maintenance of Industrial Effluent & Ultra Pure Water (RODI) Treatment System & Scheduled Waste Management to ensure continuous supply of utilities and related facilities at the required performance level or specifications to support substrate manufacturing operation.
About the role - you will:

• Maintain efficient and optimal operation of the Industrial Effluent Treatment System and Scheduled Waste Management System to ensure uninterrupted utility services and facility support at the required performance standards
• Conduct Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) performance monitoring as per EQR 2009 requirement and Scheduled Waste Management
• Formulate and implement preventive maintenance programs and ensure the systems are always intended
• Conduct periodic checks and routine inspection according to the system recommendation and checklist
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns promptly. Under urgent cases, the person shall be required to work outside normal hours
• Ensure all equipment is operating and maintain cost effectively, safely, and efficiently
• Mentor the work of Engineering Specialist III and supervise contractors engaging in specialized in maintenance work
• Attend to UPW supply & wastewater discharging issues at production floor if any
• Perform related duties as directed

About you:

• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to deal with people at all levels, good in problem solving, result-oriented and aggressive team player
• Able to perform duties with minimal supervision and in a safely manner, self-motivated and enthusiastic
• Possess Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering Or Certificate in Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 3 years of experience
• Possess Certificate in Environmental Professional by Environment institute Of Malaysia, EiMAS. A competent person for listed in National Registry of Certified Environmental Professionals, NRCEP. CeSWaM or NIOSH AGTES is an added advantage

Your experience includes:

• Working background in manufacturing with emphasis in project management, maintenance of facilities management
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on work history in industrial effluent treatment system equipment and instrument maintenance consist of chemical treatment package, ion exchanger package, biological treatment - activated sludge system, ultrafiltration system, multimedia filtration system, activated carbon filtration system and dewatering system (filter press/decanter/dryer
• Operation and troubleshooting of Wilden & ARO air diaphragm pump, centrifugal pump, multistage pump (Grundfos CRN), chemical dosing pump (Prominent), air blower (rotary type with 2 lobe roots & pulley driven), submerge aerator, clarifier scraper, mixer, filter press, submersible pump, pH sensor, dissolve oxygen sensor, ammoniacal nitrogen sensor, oxygen reduction potential sensor, flow indicator transmitter, level indicator transmitter, pressure indicator transmitter, temperature indicator transmitter, leak detector, pneumatic control system at Industrial Effluent (DOE Std A) Treatment System is preferred
• Working on ion exchanger regeneration with acid sulfuric and hydrochloric acid for weak acid cation resin and strong acid cation resin, installation of PVC piping and rectification of piping issues is an added advantage
• Troubleshooting motor starter control panel/system (direct online, start delta, star delta auto transformer, soft starter and variable frequency/speed drive), knowledge in low voltage (24v) troubleshooting is an added advantage
