Job Description

• Possess 1 - 2 years of working experience in manufacturing environment. Those who have working experience in similar field is highly preferred.
• Have adequate knowledge in CNC programming (Fanuc, Mastercam)
• Willing to work on shifts.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled technician in milling to join our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating milling machine to ensure all the production proceed run smoothly.

• To ensure daily production targets are meet with standard quality within the standards given.
• Analyses job order and performs necessary calculations for programming including where materials should be cut.
• Translates instructions into a computer automated manufacturing (CAM) program.
• Determines sequence of operations in a program.
• Analyses and selects speeds and cutting tools for programs.
• Makes improvements to set up times for a task.
• Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
• Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines and equipment as required all dimensional inspections.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions.
• Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to perform typical machine shop operations to support the production and fabrication process.
• Must be willing to accept and receive supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up.
• Must be able to operate with minimal supervision once trained by following work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Wear proper safety equipment and comply with company safety rules at all times.
• Make a positive contribution to maintaining a workplace that is healthy, safe, neat and tidy.
• Undertake other responsibilities assigned by superior from time to time.
