Position: MIS Infrastructure Executive (IT Support Engineer) Company background: Healthcare Tech Office location: Taman Tun Dr Ismail, KL Summary To assist in the managing and supporting of the IT Infrastructure of the organization, including hardware, software, desktop and shared infrastructure and data networks, servers, mobile and cloud system. Ensure all components are maintained and work reliably to meet the organization needs. Commitment the effective use of new and existing technology. Responsibilities:

• Support and monitor existing infrastructure, perform preventative maintenance work, backup and perform other regular support activities to ensure effectiveness and to provide cover on such tasks when required.

• Support and monitor the organization\xe2\x80\x99s internal networks and links to regional Hospitals, Microsoft Cloud or the Internet, and to ensure they are configured and working correctly.

• Plan, manage and implement infrastructure projects and upgrades to meet organization goals.

• Respond to 2nd Line Help Desk calls and planned work requests. To manage such items through to resolution or escalate them to another member of the team or the Infrastructure Manager.

• Liaise with external partners and support vendors for the ongoing support and maintenance of relevant hardware and software.

• Ensure that all work and changes are performed in such a way as to minimize all disruption to existing business use.

• Assist in keeping track of the Organization\xe2\x80\x99s infrastructure assets and ensure that the infrastructure and data is kept secure at all times.

• Availability (Security) management of the network (LAN, WAN, VPN), server and database infrastructure. Maintain the Capacity plan and achieve the Service Level targets for Capacity and Availability.

• As part of an effective Security strategy operate and manage a patching policy for all IT infrastructure including servers, PCs and applications.

• Ensure that the IT infrastructure is secure from external and internal attack through monitoring, testing and following best practice to reduce the risk of any security incident.

• Ensure effective monitoring and alerting of all appropriate infrastructure services.

• Maintain an effective antivirus, anti-spam and malware strategy for all of the IT infrastructure including PCs and telephony.

• Define and administer an effective backup and recovery strategy for the IT Services.

• Support the technical production of the IT Continuity plan creating and documenting processes and procedures to ensure the timely recovery of the Organization systems in the event of an invocation.

• Maintain appropriate records of time spent, actions taken and item status to facilitate management, future problem resolution and to keep team informed of progress.

• Mentor junior infrastructure support staff. Assist in designing and documenting infrastructure processes, procedures and standards and to maintain or prepare system and software documentation as directed.

• Keep team up to date with progress and to liaise with colleagues and vendors in an appropriate manner. To liaise with users regarding escalated issues and to agree appropriate courses of action and priorities.

• Ensure that technology is used, managed and supported in accordance with organization standards, policies and procedures.

• Work alongside colleagues within the IT Department on support, development and project work where directed.

• Undertake additional duties as required by the Chief Information Officer or Infrastructure Manager.

• A clear understanding of core Cloud Computing services. Able to understand the basic functioning of Networking, Databases, Software, and Servers in the Cloud

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in computer science/Information Technology or its equivalent.

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in supporting IT Infrastructure including networks, security and hardware.

• Proven and demonstrable experience in supporting IT infrastructure including networks, security and hardware.

• Good level of general education.

• General commercial awareness of impact of client requirements.

• Possess extensive knowledge in Window Server 2012/2012 R2, SQL 2012/2016, Linux OS Platforms, Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Management, Microsoft Exchange 2016, Next Gen Firewall, HP / Aruba Core and Client Network, HP / Aruba Wi-Fi Network, IBM Servers, HP Servers, SAN Hardware management / support, Virtualization Technologies (Hyper-V), Microsoft Azure Setup and Management.

• Attentive understanding or knowledge of Microsoft System Centre Products (SCCM, SCOM, MYSQL).

• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical terminology to people with limited or no technical understanding.

• Excellent technical skills, always striving to improve technical knowledge to meet business needs.

• Proactive and solutions driven.

• Be able to liaise with all staff levels.

• Ability to work to tight deadlines and budgetary limitations.

• Customer, end-user, and external support company liaison skills.

• Proven and demonstrable experience in supporting IT infrastructure including networks, security and hardware.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month Benefits:
