People Security, ICS

The People Security team is responsible for managing the human aspect of ICS risk. We aim to promote and embed a heathy risk culture across the Bank by educating and upskilling all colleagues on their role in protecting our customers\xe2\x80\x99 and the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s assets and data, achieving People Security-related risk reduction, and improving our user experience in relation to security roll outs.

Main Purpose of Role

  • To support the Risk Culture (ICS) Hive and People Security team in
  • Driving awareness of and advocacy for risk culture (ICS) initiatives within key stakeholder groups across the Bank.
  • Spotting and harnessing opportunities to amplify risk culture (ICS) messaging across initiatives and communications driven by other teams across the Bank such as conduct, HR, Finance, CCIB, CPBB, TTO, etc.
  • Supporting the delivery of awareness and adoption activities for the Cyber Knowledge Hub (CKH) and promote the seven Risk Culture (ICS) behaviours.
  • Supporting the delivery of \xe2\x80\x9cembed and sustain\xe2\x80\x9d actions assigned to the risk culture squad leads to support the embedding of the seven exemplar behaviours.
  • Managing our Bank-wide community of ICS Champions and facilitate the amplification of core initiatives from across ICS our global offices.
Key Responsibilities
  • Establish strong relationships with Risk Culture (ICS) Hive stakeholders, and other senior stakeholders across the Bank, including Employee Relations, Conduct and Ethics, CISOs (Country, Business, Regional), CABM, the People Security MT, and other core functions / markets.
  • Work with identified stakeholders and communications teams to include risk culture (ICS) messaging where appropriate in function and country led initiatives and communications.
  • Work with the Metrics, Knowledge, and People squad leads to identify target audiences and facilitate the alignment of programmes / initiatives to drive down risk in the key identified areas through the delivery of education, training, and awareness programmes.
  • Provide operational communications support to the Risk Culture (ICS) Hive and People Security team in the deployment of awareness and adoption programmes, including the ongoing management of relevant Bridge pages and the building and broadcasting of emails via Poppulo.
  • To oversee the day-to-day management and operationalisation of the ICS Champion\xe2\x80\x99s programme including facilitating regular communications, engagements, and roll out of ICS initiatives via the programme.
  • Support the Risk Culture Squad Leads to coordinate and track delivery of \xe2\x80\x98embed and sustain\xe2\x80\x99 actions as agreed at regular squad meetings.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters.
  • Manage and respond to requests for information (RFIs) from industry regulators in a timely manner.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • 5 - 10 years experience, Diploma / Degree in any discipline, relevant certifications can be considered in lieu.
  • Experience in working in an ICS environment, with a competent understanding of ICS risk, threats, and internal controls - in lieu of this experience, the ideal candidate must demonstrate a clear understanding of ICS risk and a willingness to learn new, complex concepts.
  • Experience working in or with the financial services industry, or an ICS policy organisation in another industry, with keen understanding of business and operational environments preferred.
  • Experience of working in or with communications teams is desirable, as is stakeholder management and engagement experience.
  • Be an excellent communicator and have an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience of Agile processes to support Standard Chartered New Ways of Working (nWoW).
  • Experience in delivering projects in a highly governed, regulated environment.
  • Ability to follow, develop and optimise processes.
