Key Responsibilities

Run and Maintain AI Solutions

Develop and deploy machine learning models using Python and cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, and OpenShift. Manage and support proprietary AI systems, including in-house GPT-based applications. Design, build, and maintain AI-related APIs and backend services to power internal AI solutions. Build and sustain cloud-based backend applications with tools like Kubernetes and Docker to support AI platforms.

Optimize Performance and Scalability

Actively handle service requests and incidents to ensure system reliability and continuous uptime. Profile, optimize, and fine-tune models and backend components to meet SLA standards. Assess and recommend emerging technologies or architectures to enhance system performance. Automate infrastructure deployment (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines for AI operations.

Additional Responsibilities

Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers in data science, software development, and data platform management. Innovate and strengthen AI platforms to prevent potential operational issues.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline. 5-7 years of practical experience in data science or software engineering with a focus on cloud technologies. Strong proficiency in Python and adaptable to learning other relevant languages. Working knowledge of SQL.

Nice-to-Have:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields. Experience with Python libraries such as SQLAlchemy, FastAPI, and Pydantic. Familiarity with OpenAI APIs and large language models (LLMs). Background in IT infrastructure (servers and databases). Knowledge in prompt engineering. Experience with Azure data science services, GCP, and OpenShift. Understanding of SAP systems. Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL). Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud services, and CI/CD workflows. Advanced Git usage (GitHub, GitOps). Skilled in developing APIs that integrate with AI systems.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
