Job Scope
Develop, test, and maintain custom applications, integrations, and software solutions.
Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into functional applications.
Perform Level 2 troubleshooting of application issues and engage vendors for Level 3 support.
Customize and enhance existing applications to meet evolving business needs.
Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance.
Ensure applications meet quality, security, and compliance standards.
Prepare technical documentation, user manuals, and training materials.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, frameworks, and development best practices.
Requirement
Bachelor's degree in related field.
Must have 5 -7 years of experience in related industry/ position.
Must have Mobile Application knowledge.
Have hands-on working experience in DXC/ CSC platforms of applications.
Ability to write programs using COBOL/ COBOL SQL is a must.
Ability to understand user requirements and provide business solutions is a plus.
Good understanding of all life insurance modules. (New business/ claims/ Policy admin)
Ability to translate functional specifications to technical specifications.
Have good understanding of system integrations surrounding core applications.
Ability to engage technical vendors and business users to provide good quality deliverables is expected.
Experience in supporting night batch support.
Experience in launching products is plus.
Having strong troubleshooting skills/ knowledge on the reported system issue.
Ability to support new system support independently.
Knowledge in COBOL, AS400, IBM iSeries and DB skills is a plus, SQL/ MYSQL.
Ability to take up additional support and maneuver within enterprise applications is a plus.
