Our client is seeking mobile application developers, based out of its HQ in Malaysia or the Philippines, with strong work ethics, who will be instrumental in maintaining and improving current in-house
mobile applications and who will play a primary role in the enhancement and development of new features.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain mobile applications and mobile platform programs for the Android

platform. * Test and troubleshoot applications from the ground up.

• Build and publish applications for Google Playstore.
• Update applications to meet Playstore requirements as they change.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Write clean, well composed and maintainable code plus define and ensure documentation standards are maintained.

Job requirements:

• A Diploma and/or degree in Computer Science, Engineering or IT related qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in proven Android App development.
• Experience with Android SDK, Objective-C, working with remote data vis REST or JSON, Android or iOS frameworks etc.
• Have built/published applications on Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
• Publication on Github is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Familiarity with push notifications, experience with consuming APIs, and interfacing with backend services.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Familiar with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Experience with PHP, HTML, and JavaScript would be an advantage.

Remuneration:

RM 6,000 - RM 9,000
