Responsible for translating mobile application requirements into good quality executable code and to collaborate closely with the Solution Architect and other developers in ensuring not just the end product meet the expected outcome but also the design of code complies with the overall architecture.

1. Analyse user requirements. Research, design and writing new software programs.

2. Test new programs and perform fault finding. Write, test, refine and rewrite code as necessary. Analyse existing programs and identify areas for improvement/modification.

3. Evaluate software and systems that would make the application works. Maintain systems by monitoring and correcting software defects from time to time.

4. Perform integration with existing software products and compatible platforms to ensure the developed application/program works as per requirement.

5. Create technical specifications and test plans. Write operational documentation with technical authors.

6. Write systems to control the scheduling of jobs on a mobile server or to control the access allowed to users or remote systems

7. Work with other team members for modules integration, testing and corrective actions (error fixing). Work closely also with other staff, such as project managers, interface designers, other team developers, systems analysts and sales/marketing professionals;

8. Consult clients as well as colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of software systems with a view to improve the current program. This may involve re-development or modification of the current code/program.

9. Investigate/explore new technologies related to Mobile application development. Continually update technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and external courses, besides reading manuals and assessing/exploring new updates or better solution alternatives on Mobile development.

10. Perform any other tasks as assigned by the superior(s) from time to time.
