Mold Engineer
Job Description
1.Support new project implementation including in-house industrial engineering development such as mold trial and injection parameters optimization.
2. Assembles reports to document process status and changes.
3. Collaborate with mold maker, process engineer and supplier tooling maintenance personnel to provide product recommendation and tooling improvement solutions.
4. Technical support for supplier parts supply quality & mold trouble shooting.
5. Support supplier mold maintenance & spare parts management.
6. Contributes to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
7. Carry out process study and analysis for line reject and damage, come out effective counter measure to reduce rejection.
8. Carry out process improvement to eliminate waste and increase production efficiency.
Qualifications/Skills:
1. Excellent analytical and math skills
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills
3. Good knowledge and experience specializing in Plastic mold injection / mold design.
4. Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems
5. Familiarity with IATF 16949 core tools (FMEA, Control plan, PPAP, APQP)
6. Ability to use 3D software like AUTOCAD, CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, UG (UNI-GRAPHIC).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
