Skills & Qualifications

:

Technical Skills (Mandatory): 3-5 years of experience in IT automation or infrastructure support.

Hands-on experience with Control-M job automation tool. Strong knowledge and experience in CMDB (Configuration Management Database) operations and integration.

Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for task and process automation. Working knowledge of relational databases: Oracle, MSSQL, and MySQL.

Solid experience in Unix/Linux environments.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Developer/Engineer to support our Tech Obsolescence (GIPS) program within the Monitoring & Reporting sub-domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Control-M automation and CMDB configuration, coupled with solid scripting skills in Python and Shell. This role plays a vital part in automating legacy infrastructure processes, ensuring configuration accuracy, and supporting data-driven decision-making through robust reporting mechanisms. You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to help drive modernization and automation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage job automation workflows using Control-M.

Maintain and update the CMDB to ensure accurate and up-to-date infrastructure configuration data. Design and automate scripts using Python and Shell for data extraction, reporting, and job execution.

Monitor system performance to identify aging or obsolete components in the tech landscape. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate CMDB data with reporting dashboards and monitoring tools. Support root cause analysis and issue resolution related to Control-M job failures and CMDB anomalies. Document automation processes and technical configurations clearly for audit and knowledge sharing. Assist in continuous improvement initiatives related to legacy system modernization and process automation.

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
