Job Description

Our Logistics department is in search of a hardworking and experienced Tow Truck Operator to be a part of our team. As a Tow Truck Operator, you should be able to take orders from the Logistics Manager and communicate your enroute details accordingly whilst being able to maintain an accurate record of your day-to-day activities. Responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Safely loading and unloading motorcycles onto the tow truck \xe2\x80\xa2 Liaising with the Logistics Manager for a smooth enroute collection and delivery \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintaining an accurate log of the day-to-day activities \xe2\x80\xa2 Safely sending all the motorcycles to an authorized service centre or warehouse \xe2\x80\xa2 Scheduling tow truck repairs and ensuring that it remains in perfect working order Requirements and skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven work experience as a Tow Truck Driver, Truck Driver, Lorry Driver or a similar role in the Logistics department \xe2\x80\xa2 Holding a valid commercial driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and a clean driving record \xe2\x80\xa2 Complete knowledge of road safety protocols, traffic rules & regulations \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiarity with GPS software and navigation tools \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent observational skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Good time management and decision-making skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent physical dexterity \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work independently and collaboratively \xe2\x80\xa2 Willingness to travel to different locations and work at flexible hours
