Islamic Centre Coordinator (Muhtadeen/KAFA Teacher)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Coordination:

Plan, organize, and oversee a variety of Islamic activities, including congregational prayers, Al-Quran and Iqra' recitations, group discussions, presentations and classes. Develop a diverse range of programs catering to different age groups and interests within the Islamic Centre. Teaching subjects based on Islamic studies, lessons related to Al-Quran, such as tajweed, and Arabic Language in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.

2. Leadership and Supervision:

Supervise Islamic Centre's programmes in the centre. Provide guidance and support to ensure a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.

3. Curriculum Development:

Collaborate with the Head Department of Islamic Studies to develop and enhance curriculum materials for Islamic classes and activities. Ensure alignment with the school's educational objectives and Islamic principles.

4. Community Engagement:

Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community. Organize events that promote community involvement and awareness of Islamic values.

5. Facility Management:

Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the Islamic Centre facilities. Ensure that the prayer area and other spaces are well-equipped and conducive to the spiritual and educational needs of the students.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies, Education, or a related field. Proven experience in coordinating and leading Islamic educational programs. Deep understanding of Islamic principles and a commitment to promoting an Islamic ethics within the school. Proficiency in English and Arabic is highly preferred. Proficiency and teaching ability in Tajweed and Tarannum are also prioritized. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and leadership abilities. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

Pay: RM1,485.00 per month
