As we enter our next phase of growth, we aim to elevate both the quality and quantity of our content. Founded by industry veterans, our media outlet seeks to redefine the style and user experience of traditional entertainment news, bringing fresh innovation to how audiences engage with stories.
What We're Looking For:

• Academically trained and skilled in Journalism, Communications, Media, Design, or related field.
• 1-3 years in entertainment journalism, digital content creation, or social media management. Exceptional fresh graduates or undergraduates with strong portfolios will also be considered.
• Excellent written English and Chinese; other dialects a plus.
• Strong storytelling, research, and communication skills.
• Creative, adaptable, and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in video, sound and graphic editing (Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere, CapCut, and Final Cut.
• Skilled in WordPress to manage websites and publish optimized digital content.

Preferred:

• Experience or interest in covering celebrities, music, film, or lifestyle content.
• Knowledge of Greater China entertainment trends.

Responsibilities
We're seeking a doer and learner - a creative, multitalented content creator who can write, design, and produce engaging digital content for a new Chinese entertainment media portal. This hybrid role blends journalism, social media, and visual content design, ensuring our stories are shareable, visually stunning, and newsworthy.
What You'll Do:

• Create multimedia content: articles, graphics, and videos for social media and digital platforms.
• Design visually compelling graphics and videos using Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere, CapCut, or Final Cut.
• Assist with web design and content management on WordPress.
• Track, review social media trends, engagement metrics, and SEO; bonus if experienced with Weibo, Douyin, or Xiaohongshu.
• Apply tracking metrics to enhance and create higher performance content
• Collaborate closely with the senior team to launch and grow our media portal.
