Project descriptionOur Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America are looking for Consultants to be part of the project The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches. The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia. The selected resource will be working in a newly setup technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.Responsibilities

  • Define the end to end testing strategy for ONYX and framework to ensure a high standard of testing and quality assurance is in place
  • Engage test automation team for planning, scripting and execution of test scripts
  • Chair the test progress meeting
  • Conduct defect triage meetings with Vendor, Users and IT teams
  • Plan and manage the runbook for all testing phases, Mock Runs & Production Implementations
  • Report test progress and Issues (Daily, Weekly)
  • Provide metrics and status updates for organization reporting
  • Work with different IT teams across infrastructure and various business divisions to deliver testing solutions for the business.
  • Be the focal point of contact for Business testing needs
  • Liaise with technical lead / Project managers to manage expectations for each of the testing stages of projects. Agree \'quality gate\' criteria and corrective actions
  • Stakeholder management
  • Adhere to the Bank\'s Service Management guidelines (ITIL) and participate and provide recommendations in process, service and system improvements
SKILLSMust have
  • 6-9 years of relevant experience
  • Hands on Murex MxTest (aka Onyx) Workflow Automation experience for various Asset Classes
  • Experienced in Trade ingestion and workflow from external systems into Murex and Test automation for the same using MxTest suite. Like developing the Automation Scripts for Both Inbound and Outbound Interfaces to MarkitWire.
  • Experienced in Automation testing of Murex MX.3 Interfaces, workflows module, datamart and its capabilities
  • Murex MxTest API Insertions, GUI Insertions and OSP Validations
  • Good knowledge of Pre-Trade Rules, MxML Exchange and various asset classes
  • Design of test-cases across different MX.3 versions for upgrades projects
  • Design of test-packages on Windows and execution on Windows and Linux servers
  • Good knowledge of Trade Repository
  • Good knowledge of Pre-Trade Rules, MxML Exchange
  • Good knowledge of Datamart, Dynamic Tables, feeders, extractions, processing scripts, Datamart viewer
  • Good understanding of Global Operating model
  • Good understanding of MX3.1 Trade structure, trade life cycle and events
  • Good understanding of Trade Validation and Compliance checks
  • Good domain knowledge of at least two asset classes including FI/MM, FXD, IRD, EQD and Structured products
  • Good in SQL (Oracle / Sybase), XML, Unix commands and scripting
Nice to haveKnowing Jenkins build and execution is a plus
