Job Description

Responsibilities:

Plan, implement, test, maintain, and support in-house database environments. Quickly address and resolve operational incidents or escalate when necessary. Set up database engines for development, testing, and production environments. Monitor database performance to prevent issues and ensure high availability. Provide ongoing support for daily database operations in a 24/7 environment. Develop automation scripts for scheduling, monitoring, and maintaining database tasks. Proactively optimize database performance, including table structures and indexing. Prepare weekly reports analyzing database usage trends (e.g., tablespace, disk space, row count). Perform monitoring using

MySQL, MongoDB

, etc. Handle database backups and restoration processes.

Job Requirements:

Familiar with Unix operating system administration. Proficient in Unix shell scripting. Experienced with

MySQL

. Knowledge or hands-on experience with

MySQL or MondgoDB

database tools.

Other Requirements:

Malaysian citizens only Must be fluent in Mandarin (spoken, written, and reading) to communicate with managers and clients from China and Taiwan Willing to relocate and work at Bangsar South - Fully Onsite role
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
