Job Description


The incumbent should possess substantial commercial expertise in selling consumable medical devices, to excel in formulating and implementing sales strategies, overseeing marketing initiatives, and propelling revenue expansion. You will have the capacity to cultivate robust partnerships not only within internal teams but also with medical practitioners and stakeholders nationally. Furthermore, you will monitor sales forecast to achieve the business goals.

  • Strategic Sales and Marketing Planning: Formulate and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy that outlines financial and strategic goals for the territory. This strategy will also encompass specific tactics and product-level initiatives designed to achieve these objectives.
  • Financial Resource Management: Take charge of developing and overseeing the budget for sales and marketing activities, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to meet sales and profitability targets.
  • Leadership: Lead, guide, mentor, and inspire a national sales and marketing team, fostering a collaborative culture that drives the accomplishment of sales and marketing goals.
  • Management of Customer Relations: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with customers and medical professionals, including influential opinion leaders in the field.
  • Market Analysis and Trends: Stay current with market dynamics, continuously updating industry knowledge. Recognise emerging trends, potential opportunities, and challenges, while identifying future areas for growth.
  • Collaboration Across Functions: Collaborate effectively with the General Manager and cross-functional teams in administration, regulation, and logistics, ensuring seamless and efficient business unit operations.

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Life sciences, business, marketing or a related field accompanied by relevant experience in medical device.
  • An established candidate with more than 8 years of experience in sales and marketing with a minimum of 3 years of people management experience leading a sales team in the medical device industry.
  • Outstanding ability in dealing with end users, distribution channels and network nationwide.
  • Strong business acumen and deep industry knowledge with proven track record of driving the sales process from planning to successful sales achievements.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively and convincingly at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proficiency in English is a must.
  • Ability to travel nationwide frequently and overseas occasionally.
