Job Overview

We are looking for a

.NET Developer

with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in building scalable and maintainable software solutions using Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, eager to learn, and able to communicate effectively in

Cantonese

, as the role requires regular interaction with Cantonese-speaking stakeholders.

You will work alongside senior developers and project managers to develop, implement, and maintain applications using the latest .NET technologies. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to deepen their expertise in enterprise-level application development.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using

C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core

. Assist in gathering and analyzing user and system requirements. Build and integrate

RESTful APIs and web services

with internal and third-party systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery. Perform debugging and troubleshooting to ensure applications run smoothly. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies. Follow secure coding practices and contribute to product security.

Requirements

2+ years

of hands-on experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core). Experience with

SQL Server

or other relational databases. Basic understanding of

REST APIs

and HTTP protocol. Familiarity with front-end basics such as

HTML, CSS, JavaScript

. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and coding standards. Good communication skills in

English

and

Cantonese

(required). Able to work independently and as part of a team in an Agile environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have

Exposure to

cloud platforms

like Azure or AWS. Familiarity with

Git

CI/CD tools

, and Agile/Scrum methodology. Knowledge of

containerization (Docker)

is an advantage.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science
