This is a network admin role on Cisco router, switch, Wi-Fi, SD-Wan, firewall and other network equipment. In addition, skills on Microsoft server/workstation, Active Directory, VMWare are also necessary. Good level of general IT hardware and software understanding are essential. Candidate is expected to have at least 5 years\' experience (working in corporate environment), good communication skills and customer service attitude. Provide support and hands-on service to Westcon MY/AsiaPac internal staff. To assist the regional IT manager, work with other site administrators, help achieve a stable, robust IT system and well supported environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support Westcon MY/AsiaPac network/system operation: IT room infrastructure, server/network equipment install and maintenance, internal staff PCs
• Maintain and action day-to-day operations of the network(switches, routers, Wi-Fi, firewall), server, and cloud technology across Westcon AsiaPac region
• Provide ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades and resource optimization as required
• Participate in team projects that enhance the quality and efficiency of IT systems
• It may be necessary to work out of normal business hours to resolve critical issues or provide maintenance/upgrade

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Skills and knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of network with real experience, CCNA or higher certified, expertise of Cisco network devices
• Handling daily network configuration on router/switch/Wi-Fi/security system
• Hands-on experience of Windows server, server knowledge, Active Directory, and associated DNS, DHCP, Group Policies
• Physical hardware and virtual (VMware vCenter / ESX)
• Essential: good communication and documentation skills and customer service attitude, face to face environment and the ability to provide remote phone support

Requirements

• Degree of Information Technology or related
• Minimum 5 years\' experience and knowledge in Cisco network support, Microsoft AD servers\' architectures and VMWare in corporate environment
• Certified with valid Cisco CCNA/CCNP or equivalent network certifications
