TASA\xe2\x80\x99s role is to collaboratively revamp our client\'s experience strategy while adding value to the brand. Job Summary We are looking for a network engineer who will be responsible for maintaining and administering TASA\xe2\x80\x99s computer networks. Your primary duty is to ensure the stability of the company network, uninterrupted access to to the WAN and Internet, and fortification of the perimeter and internal networks from any intrusions or attacks. This will, but not limited to, require maintenance of computer networks along with related hardware, software, and other enabling systems, performing disaster recovery operations, protecting data, software, and hardware from attacks, and replacing faulty network hardware components when necessary. You will also be working closely with the users of our network in order to identify potential issues and fix existing problems. You\'d be our ideal candidate, if you have a strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware, and have experience with SDN and optimizers. You will also need to be able to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices and supporting software, including, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers. A deep knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols is highly desired. Network Engineer Responsibilities \xe2\x97\x8f Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments. \xe2\x97\x8f Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, designing, planning, and implementing a resilient network architecture and supporting security measures. \xe2\x97\x8f Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems to reduce any risk of instability and disruption. \xe2\x97\x8f Replacing faulty network hardware components when required. \xe2\x97\x8f Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring virus protection software and email applications. \xe2\x97\x8f Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made. \xe2\x97\x8f Conferring with network users about solving existing system problems. \xe2\x97\x8f Operating master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems. \xe2\x97\x8f Coordinating computer network access and use. \xe2\x97\x8f Designing, configuring, and testing networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software. Network Engineer Requirements \xe2\x97\x8f Bachelor degree in information technology related field of study with a network engineering focus. \xe2\x97\x8f Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. \xe2\x97\x8f Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions. \xe2\x97\x8f Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers. \xe2\x97\x8f Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols. \xe2\x97\x8f Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems. \xe2\x97\x8f Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection. \xe2\x97\x8f Self starter who is able to adapt quickly to new or unfamiliar technology and products. \xe2\x97\x8f Ability to work with all levels of colleagues within and outside of the organization. \xe2\x97\x8f A goal-driven candidate who is able to work independently and just as well in a team.. \xe2\x97\x8f Good analytical and problem-solving skills. \xe2\x97\x8f Dependable and flexible when necessary. \xe2\x97\x8f Network security experience. \xe2\x97\x8f LAN and WAN experience.
