SUMMARY

We are on the look out for an experienced Network Engineer to join our team. You will act as technical expert in the design and implementation of telecommunications solutions to support the Service Centers\xe2\x80\x99 telecommunications infrastructure. You will also require to gather requirements and implement cost-effective telecommunications solutions within required timescales, to internal/external DPDHL customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Support 3rd level technical support for complex/ business critical problems
• Implement and configure new and existing Telecom components (routers, call managers and network devices) facilitating and delivering cost effective Telecom services to the business
• Actively research the Telecom market place, identify technologies and products consistent with global standards and implement solutions that are scale able and supportable in line with global standards
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level technical support enabling service level metrics to be met and maintained
• Assist in the resolution of business critical incidents by providing interim technical solutions that can be supported
• Analyze, diagnose and review trends to provide effective capacity planning to enable delivery of both new application and existing infrastructure
• Responsible for the commissioning of new Telecoms services, manage the migration from old to new, ensure minimum disruption and impact to relevant business targets/ demands
• Implement changes and network configurations effectively following the change control process ensuring all changes are documented and supportable
• Responsible for the coordination and installation of approved network additions, deletions and to ensure all changes are reflected in the configuration management database
• Responsible for ensuring all implementations follow the agreed standards, and any variations are approved prior to implementation

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

• 3 years of experience in IT or related field
• Security: CISCO - CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CCSE, CISSP, MCSE
