The Opportunity

This role will work closely with the network and Infrastructure team in Kuala Lumpur (KL) to ensure the teams have guidance and support on following best practice measures for managing the core networking infrastructure and system in the ASWhite Global Office across 4 countries (Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand).

This role that will support the Technical Delivery Manager and work closely with all teams in the Technology department to assist with providing the business with the required services within the Technology departments domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a combination of project and BAU work with a range of different business and technical requirements for network and Microsoft Office 365.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support on network infrastructure in all ASWhite Global offices. (Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand) including but not limited to

• VLAN, WAN, Ethernet switching.
• WiFi Router, Access Point
• Firewall and Internet Proxy
• Respond to Service Desk tickets accordingly and manage the incident or request to completion or until handed to the relevant team.
• Perform systems and network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
• Implement & review controls to monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Implement & review controls to monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
• Provide technical network support to the infrastructure team in KL to assist with escalations on BAU or Project related activities.
• Assist the TDM with assigned project & BAU support tasks related to ASW and EML network and infrastructure in all countries (Australia, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand)
• Design and produce accurate documentation of the current state of the network infrastructure configuration.
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
• Assist in supporting Voice and VOIP technology provided by ASW to its clients.
• Perform troubleshooting across physical and virtual network layers as required.
• Mentor and guide junior team members to assist them to continuously improve their skills and knowledge of the environment.
• Provide expert assistance in the design, staging, build and roll out of network infrastructure projects covering IT and communications.
• Types of Projects may include:

• Implementation of new equipment
• IT Assessments
• Reviewing and resolving technical problems that cause the system to be unreliable.
• Identifying and correcting security concerns
• Addressing internal and external Audit findings
• Instituting network security preventative and remediation controls
• Developing Network infrastructure documentation and a basic set of operating procedures for the day-to-day maintenance of our network infrastructure systems
• Research, review, implement new solutions based on the business requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the ASW Account Manager in all phases to accurately identify and manage technical requirements to facilitate ASW\'s client offshore resources onboarding processes.
• Administer and support other core services within the team for the company.

• Liaise with external vendors as necessary.
• Evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations for the purchase of products and services.
• Interact with customers and staff at the technical level, as required.
• Participation in Change Management process - submit, review, and implement changes to a production environment.

• A degree or post graduate qualification in computer science, information technology, or relevant field
• More than 5+ years demonstrated experience in a networking role, working within in in a fast-paced business environment.
• Certified in one or multiple technologies (or equivalent industry certification) below:

• Cisco Certified Network Associate
• Comptia Security+
• Automated Administration with Windows PowerShell
• Microsoft 365 Suite
• Azure Cloud Solution
• Windows Server Administration
• ITIL certification V3 / V4

• Solid experience in building and managing medium to large office networks solution.
• IT Service Delivery and ITIL experience
• Strong knowledge of internet proxy, firewall management, networking concepts and standard.
• Strong knowledge of administering operating systems, including Windows server, Linux and desktops.
• Strong knowledge in DNS, TCP, IPv4, IPv6, Ethernet switching, WLAN, WAN technology
• Strong knowledge of IP based routing and forwarding
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Windows network stack and diagnostic tools.
• Good knowledge and technical experience in Voice/VOIP technology.
• Design, setup, configure network security solutions.
• Automation & scripting
• Solid knowledge on network infrastructure systems
• Desirable experience with linux bases systems.
