A Prominent IT Solution & Services Provider is seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure while ensuring reliability, security, and performance across diverse client environments.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
• Install and configure network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points).
• Monitor network performance to ensure optimal operation and proactively resolve issues.
• Perform troubleshooting and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
• Collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement network solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date network documentation and diagrams.
• Configure and install network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN).
• Implement and maintain network security measures including firewalls and VPNs.
• Plan and execute network maintenance such as firmware upgrades, security patches, and backups.
• Conduct regular network performance testing and disaster recovery drills.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and IT staff.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a related role.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and hardware.
• In-depth knowledge of VPN, LAN, WAN, and WLAN architectures.
• Proficient in network security practices and protocols.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is an added advantage.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Must possess own transportation for on-site support.
• Proven experience supporting a diverse range of clients is an advantage.
