Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled

Network & Security Engineer

to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with

Cisco ASA firewalls

and

Zscaler solutions

, ensuring secure, efficient, and reliable network operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, configure, and manage Cisco ASA firewalls to secure enterprise networks, including advanced threat mitigation and VPN solutions. Deploy, configure, and maintain Zscaler security solutions to protect cloud traffic and ensure secure internet access. Perform proactive network security monitoring and analysis, optimizing firewall rules, traffic flows, and security policies. Troubleshoot complex network and security issues, providing root cause analysis and timely resolution to minimize downtime. Assist in the design and implementation of network security architecture, including segmentation, access control, and compliance with industry standards. Lead incident response and vulnerability remediation efforts, coordinating with global teams to enforce security policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risks, implement best practices, and ensure continuous improvement of network security posture. Document network and security configurations, changes, and incidents to maintain knowledge base and audit readiness.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred). 5+ years of hands-on experience in

firewall and network security engineering

. Strong knowledge of

Cisco ASA

and other firewall's configuration and troubleshooting. Practical experience with

Zscaler

platform. Understanding of VPNs, IDS/IPS, and secure network design. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP Security, Zscaler Certified) are a plus. Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay: Up to RM14,000.00 per month
