Job Description
We are looking for an experienced
Network Security Engineer
with 5-6 years of hands-on expertise in managing and securing enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining firewalls, switches, and other critical network security components to ensure high availability, performance, and protection against cyber threats.Key Responsibilities
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot
firewalls (Palo Alto / Fortinet / Cisco ASA / Check Point)
andnetwork switches (Cisco, Juniper, etc.)
. Monitor and secure network traffic, ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices. Performnetwork security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk analysis
with timely remediation. Implement and maintainVPNs, IDS/IPS, and access control solutions
. Collaborate with IT and security teams on secure design, deployment, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure. Document configurations, processes, and incident response activities. Stay current with emergingnetwork security threats, tools, and technologies
.Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
5-6 years of experience
innetwork security engineering
with focus onfirewalls and switches
. Strong hands-on experience withfirewall policies, ACLs, VLANs, routing, and switching
. Knowledge ofnetwork protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, etc.)
. Familiarity withSIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies
. Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred certifications:
CCNP Security, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, CompTIA Security+, CEH.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
