As a critical internal support function, the Cloud Engineering & IT Services team\xe2\x80\x99s purpose is to ensure that all other Tribal staff can continuously do their jobs effectively and productively, from an IT systems and services perspective. Rather than simple IT request fulfilment, Cloud Engineering & IT Services seeks to deeply engage with the wider business and drive effective IT solutions to business challenges. The team is formed of three sub-teams: Cloud Engineering, User Services and SocNoc.

The role

The role of the Network Security Engineer is to be an advocate, not only for all aspects of network maintenance, engineering and change but also for IT security in order to ensure that Tribal is appropriately protected against information theft, leaks or malicious damage and complies with relevant security standards e.g.ISO27001 across all its operating regions. You will be responsible for setting up, developing and maintaining Tribal computer networks within the internal infrastructure and also within our customer environments.

The Person

To be successful in this role it will be essential that you can demonstrate expert working knowledge of the following:

Endpoint device security e.g. antivirus, encryption
Networking and firewalls
Cloud IAAS (AWS, Azure), SAAS technologies(SalesForce.com, Office 365)
Working knowledge of common enterprise IT technologies (virtualisation, SAN, ADFS, SQL).

Some key aspects of the role will include:
Being an active member of Tribal\xe2\x80\x99s Security Operations Centre.
Contributing to IT security in Tribal, ensuring that Tribal\xe2\x80\x99s infrastructure, applications, policies and access levels/controls are secure and fit for purpose.
Configuring, monitoring and advising on Tribal\xe2\x80\x99s cloud-based security with providers platforms like AWS and Azure.
Establishing the networking environment for customer requirements when required by designing system configuration, directing system installation and defining, documenting and enforcing system standards
Designing and implementing new network solutions and improve resilience of the current network environment
