Our Direct-To-Consumer segment (D2C), is one of our fastest growing product areas in the market, with an abundance of expansion plans and innovative ideas on hand.PURPOSE: The Senior Head Sales Planning & Development (SSPD) role is pivotal in driving sales strategy and execution for key accounts. The SSPD is responsible for developing and implementing the sales roadmap, processes, and all sales KPIs across the organization. Reporting to the CEO, the SSPD is also responsible for enabling and optimizing the Key Account sales team by refining sales processes, creating training programs, analyzing sales data, reviewing pricing, developing reward and recognition programs, and implementing go-to-market strategies for new products and segments. Effective collaboration with the Business Units, Finance, Product, Data & Analytics, IT, and Marketing departments is crucial for the role's success.

  • Engage closely with Key Accounts Leaders and the sales team to chart out the Sales Roadmap (objectives, goals, strategies, actions plans & measures).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing concerns and providing solutions.
  • Oversee and lead sales improvement initiatives, such as:
o Developing a robust Key Account Management Plan for the company's top accounts, including product mapping, relationship management, etc.o Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to refine sales strategieso Developing sales tools and processes that support effective sales selling efforts.o Improving visibility into the sales funnel and increasing conversion rates by streamlining sales processeso Developing and execute on go-to-market strategies for new products, segments & particularly new international markets.o Leading regular sales team cadences to facilitate discussions and remove roadblocks in the sales process.
  • Analyze and monitor the sales team's outcomes in relation to targets, highlighting trends (pipeline growth, win ratio, renewal rates, etc.), pinpointing areas for improvement and reporting findings to various senior stakeholders in the company.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly reports on sales forecasts, pipeline progress, and account status for management review.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to spearhead new marketing ideas & initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders such as pre-sales, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment on key account strategies. Work with cross-functional teams to effectively execute initiatives specific to the account.
  • Mentor and support junior sales team members, sharing best practices in key account management.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance the sales team's understanding of key account strategies and tools.
