Our Direct-To-Consumer segment (D2C), is one of our fastest growing product areas in the market, with an abundance of expansion plans and innovative ideas on hand.A Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) is an advanced DevSecOps role that combines software engineering and system administration to ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of large-scale, cloud-based applications and infrastructure.instead of conducting traditional operations roles on focusing and maintaining systems, followed by react to issues. It will be often becomes a firefighting situation that usually occurs daily. However, as applications and infrastructure become complex and cloud-based solution is required to be more proactive and software-centric approach to ensure the reliability at scale.Objectives Role:Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health. Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications such as:o Cloud Operationxefx82xa7 Cloud Securityxefx82xa7 Cloud Provision (using Terraform)o CI/CD Deployment (such as Gitlab)o Monitoring System (such as ELK, Grafana, etc.)Provide solution architect between product, business and delivery team mostly on cloud infrastructure before it can be establish automatically via IAC (Infrastructure as Code). Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite software solutions. Measure and optimize system performance with capabilities by getting ahead of customer needs, and innovation for continual improvement. Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large-scale distributed software applications.Responsibilities:Gather and analyse metrics from operating systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding. Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures. Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning. Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts. Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service-level objectives.Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related courses. Ability to program (structured and Object Oriented Programming (OOP)) using or more high-level languages, such as Java, Python, C++, GoLang, and NodeJS (Javascript). Experience in DevOps/DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline implementation for both deployment and automation operation. Experience with cloud provision automation such as Terraform. Experience with containerisation such as Docker, Docker Swarm, Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, as well as dynamic resource management frameworks (such as Kubernetes). Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and area for improvement.Preferred Skills and Qualifications Consist solution architecture with technical engineering experience. Programming experience including shell scripting. Familiar with Linux command especially basic Linux command.
