Job Purpose: To monitor the computer system and network, handling customer queries and complaints, perform minor network troubleshooting and oversee major troubleshooting in the Data Centre. Minimum requirement: - Minimum Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent, with 2-3 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates are also welcomed to apply. - Excellent understanding of technologies, operating systems, networking, anti-virus, back-ups, systems, and firewalls. - Familiar with web application languages, monitoring tools & protocols and have knowledge in product vendors such as Juniper, VMWare, and Cisco. - Experience in diagnosing network and service issues, following them through to resolution and developing Disaster Recovery Plans to minimize issues. - Experience in analyzing system and network performance using monitoring and graphical data. - Willing to be based at the Data Center @ Buntal, Santubong. - Willing to work on shift and/or on-standby. Main Responsibilities: - Deploying and inspecting IT network systems. - Overseeing the safe installation of hardware and cabling systems. - Monitoring the performance and capacity of computer systems. - Performing regular checks on network hardware and software. - Fault handling and escalation of network alerts and hardware malfunctions. - Diagnosing and troubleshooting network errors. - Tracking and documenting network issues and compiling incident reports. - Responding to user requests and providing network training. - Managing system backups and network security protocols.
