Monthly Salary: Started USD 2324Requirements:
Nursing degree with at least 3 years of clinical/ hospital experience, preferable 2 years of working in an Emergency room / Intensive Care Unit.
Valid national nurse license without any remarks and flag state endorsed if applicable.
Valid ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support), BLS and PALS certificate as per Company requirements.
Good verbal and written English
Relevant computer literacy and possess good communication skillsShipboard nursing experience (Preferred).Essential Responsibilities:
Assist the Doctor in providing medical care on board as demand rise to passengers and crew on board.Maintain a professional working relationship with the Medical section staff and all other crewmembers to promote a harmonious and productive environment.Be well familiar with the Company medical procedures and competent in the operation of the equipment in the Medical Center.Keep the Doctor and Head Nurse informed of all medical matters regarding passenger and crewmembers.Ensure that all medical equipment is kept in good working order and maintained according to Company procedures. Record the service and calibrations in the PMS and/or the designated log book.Report any malfunctioning equipment and expired medicines to the Doctor.Ensure that the Medical Center is adequately stocked and equipped at all times.Perform regular inventory and checks of all medication and equipment related to the Medical Center.Administrative duties such as raising purchase orders, arranging storage, billing for medications and services.
Ensure that all surgical instruments are sterilized and kept ready for use.Be familiar with the indications, side effects, and precautions to be observed and location of all medications and Emergency drugs in use on board.Ensure accuracy in dispensing medications and to dispense medication in a safe way, with appropriate warnings and precautions attached.Keep the Medical Center records and log books accurately updated with regards to all aspects of patient management.Reconciliation and validity check of the Pre-Employment Medical Examination documentation and applicable vaccination cards for each crewmember serving on board.Responsible, in liaison with the Doctor and Head Nurse for packing and indexing any medical documentation that is subject to storage at shore facility.Benefits:
