Summary:

Seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Nursery and Research Manager to support sustainable forestry operations. To oversee and manage the full spectrum of nursery and research operations, including seedling production, plantation trials, resource monitoring, and implementation of forestry best practices and sustainability procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day tasks related to nursery and research operations Manage end-to-end seedling production and plantation establishment process Coordinate research trials, growth monitoring, and nursery records Ensure compliance with forestry regulations, safety standards and company procedures Support continuous improvement in silviculture practices and staff training initiatives Involved in audit matters, research documentation and budgetting Any tasks / jobs related to nursery and research management

Qualifications:

Minimum Degree in Forestry, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or other related field At least 5-years' experience in nursery operations and research within the forestry or plantation industry Experience with nursery management systems, research tools, or forestry-related databases is an added advantage Fluent in both Malay and English, written and verbal communication Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping Experience with nursery management systems, research tools, or forestry-related databases is an added advantage
