Duties and Responsibilities:

To support children in developing the skills they need for daily activities, school participation, and life skills -- while also contributing to the centre's growth through fulfilling service slots, awareness activities, and marketing campaigns.

1. Assessment & Evaluation

Assess children's sensory, motor, cognitive, and social-emotional skills.

Observe children in the centre and school settings.

Use standardized tools, informal assessments, and parent/teacher input.

2. Develop & Deliver Individualized Therapy Plans

Create and implement individualized treatment plans.

Provide centre-based sessions and in-school interventions (push-in/pull-out).

Develop group programs where suitable (e.g., handwriting, sensory playgroups).

3. Support & Train Families and Teachers

Educate teachers on practical classroom strategies and adaptations.

Provide parents with home programs, resources, and guidance.

4. Monitor & Report Progress

Maintain accurate case notes, reports, and progress reviews.

Attend meetings with parents and school teams.

Adjust goals based on progress and feedback.

5. Collaboration & Teamwork

Work closely with the centre team (speech therapists, special educators, psychologists).

Liaise with teachers, counselors, and school staff.

Advocate for each child's best interests.

6. Sales & Business Targets

Fulfill monthly required therapy slots or sales targets as set by management.

Maintain good client retention and encourage continuity of services.

7. Awareness & Marketing Activities

Actively participate in campaigns, workshops, or community talks to raise awareness of the centre's services.

Support the marketing team in promoting the centre's programs, packages, or events.

Build positive relationships with schools, parents, and the wider community to expand outreach.

8. Continuous Professional Development

Stay up to date with best practices and new interventions.

Attend relevant training and contribute to staff learning sessions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
