Qualification: Minimally a Diploma in Logistics/Transport or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years of working experience in Equipment and M&R
Special Requirement/Skills:
Deep understanding of container operations
Good networking with depot and terminal
Ability to resolve problems
Good command in English and strong communication skills
Computer literacy is compulsory especially in MS Excel
Familiar with Port Systems
Proven leadership skills and a team player
Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to manage & ensure smooth equipment activities also to make sure inventories are well managed and balanced.
Other Job Functions:
Ensure LSC and repositioning are handled in the most cost-effective manner.
Work closely with depot to improve turnaround time of damaged and repaired containers.
Work with team to follow-up on recoveries effort for fast resolve on claims.
Monitor equipment transactions performance.
Supervise and motivate team for continued delivery of quality service.
