Job Description

Responsibilities 1. Plan and implement best management practice for Land Disturbing Pollution Prevention Mitigation Measures (LD-P2M2), site safety and waste management plan. 2. Ensure all requirements of EIA, EMP and related environmental regulation are being implemented on site and compliance to the legal and other requirements. 3. Monitor and conduct inspection on all environmental components installed to be fully functioning and properly maintained. 4. Collect all environmental data and information on site and ensure good record keeping are carried out as scheduled. 5. Prepare daily, monthly and quarterly related Environmental Management Report (EMR) for internal and external stakeholders, such as DOE for regulation compliance. 6. Communicate regularly with management and other stakeholders, providing environmental performance and compliance updates. 7. Assist in gathering and prepare monthly and quarterly site development reports or when necessary. 8. Assist in preparing related paperwork as per instructed by superior. 9. Liaise with internal departments and external agencies such as Government Agencies, Consultants and other authorities for related compliance and regulation matters. 10. Perform any task as assigned by superior. Requirements 1. Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Environmental Science/Forestry/Agriculture or related discipline from recognized university/college with minimum CGPA 3.0. 2. Certified either in: - Certified Erosion, Sediment and Storm Water Inspector (CESSWI) or - Certified Inspector Sediment and Erosion Control (MY-CISEC) or - Certified Professional for Environmental Officer in EIA (CePEOEIA) 3. Able to work in plantation environment. 4. Good command of written and spoken in English and Bahasa Malaysia. 5. Initiative and able to work independently with a high degree of commitment.
