Job Description

1. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Supervision and Implementation



Supervise and oversee all safety, health, and environmental (SHE) activities within the organization and at project sites. Implement and maintain the company's Safety & Health Policy, management systems, and operational procedures. Assist in the implementation of HSE plans in compliance with statutory laws, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safe work practices and environmental standards are adhered to.

2. Compliance & Coordination



Liaise with relevant authorities (e.g. DOSH, DOE, CIDB) and clients to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Prepare, maintain, and update all necessary documentation required by local authorities and company systems. Attend site coordination, safety, technical, and progress meetings to ensure SHE matters are addressed and resolved promptly.

3. Hazard Identification & Risk Management



Provide technical advice to the project team in identifying potential hazards in each work section. Develop and implement control measures, risk assessments (HIRARC), and Safe Work Procedures (SWP) to mitigate risks. Enforce discipline and promote strong safety culture and work ethics among all site personnel.

4. Incident Management & Reporting



Record, investigate, and report all accidents, incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions. Analyse root causes and recommend corrective and preventive measures. Maintain accurate records and statistics on incidents, injuries, and occupational diseases for management review. Address employees' safety concerns and ensure timely resolution of reported issues.

5. Training, Awareness & Communication



Conduct regular safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and awareness sessions for all site workers and subcontractors. Promote continuous safety education and ensure all employees understand and comply with site safety requirements. Support in organizing safety campaigns, drills, and internal safety audits to strengthen safety culture.

6. Ad-Hoc Tasks



Assist in emergency response drills, internal inspections, and compliance audits. Perform any other SHE-related duties or assignments as required by management. Provide support to project management in the preparation of safety reports, documentation, and audits.
Job Types: Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
