We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Omakase Chef to create exceptional and personalized dining experiences for our guests at Kumo Omakase. This role requires expertise in traditional Japanese culinary techniques, a deep understanding of seasonal ingredients, and a commitment to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and guest service.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Prepare and present omakase menus featuring a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese delicacies, showcasing creativity and respect for traditional techniques.
Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene, adhering to all regulations.
Interact with guests, explaining dishes, providing personalized recommendations, and creating a memorable dining experience.
Manage inventory, ensuring proper storage of ingredients and minimizing waste.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Maintain and clean the sushi bar and surrounding areas, ensuring a pristine and welcoming environment.
Preparing ingredients daily in accordance to the needs of the operation.
Educate the service crew on new dishes being presented to the guest.
Any Ad Hoc task given by the head chef.
Qualification :
Min exp 2years in Japanese cuisine.
Salary is negotiable based on experience.
