Your responsibilities include: 40 Working Hours per Week : This includes: o Teaching hours (virtual and in-person) to engage, educate, and inspire our students. o Lesson preparation, planning, assessment and reporting (curriculum and co-curriculum) o Pastoral care and life coaching o Parental engagement. o Supporting marketing and enquiries. o Participation in professional development. Working Environment : o Flexibility to work from any conducive space and working hours will be based on school schedule / calendar / timetable. o Approximately 80% virtual delivery and 20% in-person. o Have access to stable internet connectivity. Continuous Improvement : Actively participate in targeted upskilling to stay at the forefront of latest teaching methodologies. Interactive Lessons : Develop and deliver lessons that are engaging, interactive, differentiated, and personalized, tailored to individual students\' needs. Materials and Activities : Create educational materials and activities that cater to diverse student learning styles and abilities. Online Teaching Skills : Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills in the online teaching environment. Creativity and Energy : Infuse your teaching with creativity and energy to spark student curiosity and enthusiasm. Project-Based Learning : Plan and implement a project-based learning approach to make education more practical and engaging through regular inter-disciplinary collaboration. Personalised Learning : Tailor learning experiences to meet the unique needs of each student and create individualized learning plans. Holistic Student Development : Coach students to develop holistically, including their physical, mental, and emotional well-being, including compliance with Child Protection and Safeguarding policies. Organisation and Commitment : Maintain a well-organised approach to your teaching duties, demonstrating unwavering commitment to our students\' success. Classroom Management : Effectively manage online classroom behaviour and address any issues that may arise. Feedback to School Management : Collaborate with school management to enhance the holistic development of our students. Parental Engagement : Provide regular developmental feedback to parents on their child\'s progress. Stakeholder engagement: Promote school ethos to stakeholders and potential clients. Requirements: We seek candidates who meet the following criteria: (COMPETENCIES) Education : A minimum of BSc / BA (B.Ed) or equivalent in the chosen subject. Teaching Experience : A minimum of 5 years teaching experience (online, remote and in-person) in the relevant Malaysian course curricula. Subjects Experience: Able to teach Bahasa Malaysia / Sejarah / Pendidikan Islam / Pendidikan Moral. Ability to teach multiple subjects is an advantage. Digital Proficiency : Proficiency in the latest online teaching methods with the ability to navigate online platforms and use tools such as Zoom, Slack, MS Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. (SKILLS) Communication Skills : bilingually proficient in Malay and English with excellent communication skills, online and face-to-face. Adaptability : An openness to new methodologies, pedagogies, and ways of working to drive innovation.
