EXECUTIVE - OPERATION



(KASTURI ACADEMY SDN BHD)

RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES:



To serve as the central liaison authority for any physical and equipment maintenance issues experienced by the tuition centers of Kasturi Academy and Head Office.

To attend and resolve all reported maintenance issues including the engagement of external contractors for rectification works in a timely and cost effective fashion.

To develop, maintain and observe a schedule for the regular maintenance/servicing of all equipment that require such regular checks.

To visit each Center at least once every month to establish the cleanliness of the premises with special emphasis in this regard on the condition of the toilet facilities.

To prepare the annual maintenance and capex budget for consideration by Management for incorporation into the annual budget.

To sign off on the payment of the monthly Cleanliness Allowance entitlement of the eligible Centre staff based on the findings of (4) above, prior to the CEO approving and the Finance Department effecting the said payments.

To undertake any procurement activities on behalf of the Centers and HQ as directed by the CEO especially with regard to (but not limited to) the purchase, issuance and control of stationery supplies.

To carry out at least once yearly -preferably in October or November of each year -an asset verification/asset tagging exercise for both the Kasturi Academy and HQ and to provide the results of the verification to the Finance Dept. for the purpose of updating the asset register(s).

To plan and coordinate with the Center Head and HQ Department Heads a yearly exercise for the disposal all unwanted or assets beyond economical repair as per the governing SOPs and to update the asset register accordingly after any such disposal.

To maintain and keep updated a record of all tenancy agreements and to alert the CEO, 3 months in advance on any impending tenancy that is due for renewal.

To study and propose initiatives aimed at reducing operational costs that fall within this job scope.

To assist in the CEO in scouting and securing new sites for the business.

To assist the relevant parties in obtaining the required documentation for the purpose of securing the Business, Premises, Teaching and Advertising permits for the Centers.

To assist in the relocation or closure of any Centers by supervising all restoration works, renovations, the relocation of all retained assets including files and documents, updating of the asset register(s) and disposal of the unwanted assets as a result of the exercise.

Any other duties as directed by the CEO from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:



Education

Diploma or Degree in Administration or Facility Management

Experience

Fresh Graduate or minimum with 2 years working experience in Engineering, Administration or Facility Management preferably from Higher Education Institution.

KSA's

(Knowledge, Skills & Ability)

Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office applications

Good team player with proven ability to build strong relationships with key individuals.

Some knowledge of technical issues with regard to building renovations, Operational safety and health and electrical/plumbing matters. Professional, confident, credible communicator, including the ability to connect with a group of people.

Ability to work quickly and accurately, especially under pressure; and within a cross-culture, virtual team and global environment.

Organized, strong time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in order to meet established deadline.

Job Types: Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
