Data Center Operations Lead

to manage our APAC team from our facility in

Kulai

.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone passionate about building high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the reliability of a critical cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead & Develop:

Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of data center professionals across the APAC region.

Strategic Roadmap:

Create and execute the vision and strategy to mature our operations, developing a scalable model with clear goals.

Operational Excellence:

Design and implement robust processes, system management practices, and ensure compliance with all security and audit requirements.

Drive Reliability:

Own and surpass all SLAs/OLAs, focusing on uptime, crisis management, and continuous improvement of our critical infrastructure.

Vendor & Budget Management:

Negotiate with vendors, assist in managing multi-year budgets, and make key strategic decisions.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Proven experience operating and managing high-availability data centers

is essential. Hyperscale environment experience is a significant plus. A strong track record of

managing and developing engineering or technical staff

. Demonstrable experience engaging with customers and stakeholders to resolve complex issues. Experience with

managing budgets and vendor relationships

. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
