Job Responsibilities

1. Head the plant operations and supervise Production, Engineering, Projects, Maintenance, and Safety functions.

2. Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures.

3. Develop budgets and approve expenditures for supplies, materials, and human resources, ensuring that materials, labour, and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets.

4. Review financial statements, sales, and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.

5. Monitor businesses to ensure that they efficiently and effectively meet planned objectives.

6. Ensure achieving targets for plant production, productivity, costs, etc.

7. Set up systems, operations budget, and production interface with sales, optimizing productivity, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.

8. Direct and coordinate production, processing, and shipping activities.

9. Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or other processing problems.

10. Initiate and coordinate inventory and cost control, lean and safety programs.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering/BTech (Mechanical)

2. 10 to 15 years in steel-sheet fabrication or related industry

3. Last 5 years in Operations Management level

4. Strong leadership with good communication skills

5. Excellent people management skills and goal-oriented

6. Knowledge of Factory laws

7. Fluent in Malay, English, and Mandarin to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders in Malaysia, Singapore, and China
