Operation Manager (PJ) This global industrial chemical MNC is looking to hire a capable Operation Manager who is a self-starter and is independent. This person will need to have had extensive experience in inventory and warehouse management and be overseeing the ESH. Key Responsibilities:
- Managing local operations, supply, logistics and distribution within the company
- Will be responsible for the operations across Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia
- Setting the strategy and direction for the Operations department for growth and operational efficiency
- Reviewing and authorising transactions, payments, purchases and contractual obligations within company policies
- Ensuring that sites operate within the best standard practices of Health, Safety and Environment compliances
- Minimum to be holding a degree in either Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent
- Have at least 5 years of experience in a managerial role and has lead at least 10 subordinates under them
- Must have hands on experience and a background in industrial chemicals and logistics
- Ability to lead a team and be entrepreneurial, adaptable to thinking outside the box and fluid business demands
- Have a general understanding of legal framework and business law of MY, SG and Indonesia especially in the industrial health & Safety space
